Kathleen, thanks for your note and for sending the pictures. I agree - we did get a lot accomplished! I also wanted to share with you that after you left, Ed and I looked at the glass 1x6 sample you left again, and Ed realized that he really liked the glass the more he looked at it.
By the end of the conversation he ruled out the stone entirely! You’re right that it was the new concept that was throwing him off. We both agree that a simple design of all glass with the new paint color will lift the room and give us what we have been really missing in the room.
Thank you for helping us come to this conclusion as I can tell you, we would not have arrived at that if it wasn’t for you!
Thanks again…by the way I forgot to tell you today that I had read some of your blog and it’s really good! I enjoyed it!!!

I met Kathy several years ago on a very unique project. At the time I was hired to build two structures, a pool house and guesthouse, Kathy was already the project designer. I liked her from our first meeting.
She is a complete professional. Her organizational skills are great, her knowledge of the building trade impressive, and she works well with sub contractors.
I have worked with many interior designers over the years, and I have found Kathy to be precise in her designs, flawless in her taste and extremely helpful to her clients. Her work results in a personalized finished project and extremely satisfied clients.
She is patient, generous, and has a great sense of humor. It is a pleasure working with her.

There are places—rooms, corridors, patios, porches—where all the parts seem to resonate, harmonize, and finally click. These spaces, whether indoors or out, are defined by an intense attention to detail: Components both simple and unexpeced are united by a common aesthetic touch. These are the places where Southbury-based interior residential and commercial designer Kathleen Morrone is most in her element.

Kathy and I worked together when redesigning my new office in Southington. Due to the nature of my business, I needed a design that was upscale yet still inviting.
Kathy helped me achieve both by selecting gorgeous paint colors and working with my construction team to ensure that every detail was carefully executed.
She took my vision and turned it into a reality.

Kathy-- So glad to recieve your email. I've only worked with you for a year or so-but, I think I know your reaction to design color, fabrics, trends, etc. I could tell the miute you looked at the lamp how you felt. When I asked you at the end or our meeting if you thought this lamp worked, I could tell again that you had doubts. I was not 100% when I brought it home--even though I do think it is a pretty piece. But not for that space. I can easily return it. My ego isn't invested in this piece.
We trust your judgement--admire your tast. We appreciate your listening skills--and your understanding of our monetary confines--We don't want to spend any money unnecessarily -We'd rather do without than purchase just anything.
We appreciate your honesty and caring--

Kathy - You sure are giving this a lot of thought and attention. Your selections are hard to choose from as they all are great!
I really can't pick just one as my favorite. I will leave it up to you!
